As reported in the canal press we have been looking at acquiring the station boat 'May' from Stoke Bruerne and have approached the Waterways Trust in whose care she is in. So that we can assess the costs involved we have had a survey carried out and have approached a number of boat builders for quotes to restore 'May' back to working condition.

This is a major scheme which will require substantial funding. We shall be shortly approaching the Waterways Trust with our proposals and we are currently looking at sources for financial support
