Notes from the Editor

I'm saddened to think that we are losing our Chairman but nothing stays the same & it's good for us all to have a change as I'm sure Phil will agree. There's much change on our Council this year and hopefully more is to come in the form of new members.

It's been an odd summer for me, with holidays, illness and family commitments I feel I've missed a number of events, though details have still appeared in Boundary Post despite all of that. I'm looking forward to the Stourbridge Event and the Bonfire Rally.

Again I am pleased with the items sent in for this edition. The variety is important whether it's a well researched article or a small snippet of information like the airline ticket or thw 1947 photo. All are important as BCN interest. I look forward to hearing from more of you.

Our new sales officer, Simon needs more help on the sales stand. Even if you can just manage an hour to give him a lunch break! He would like to thank Ian Sadler, Dominic Gordon and Janet Dodd for the help they gave him just recently. We can't expect anyone to do this job on their own that's why we are a SOCIETY. See what you can do if you are at any of these events. Help put up a tent, make tea, sell...there's a job for anyone - BIG or small. See you there!

Have a GOOD CHRISTMAS - back with you in the NEW YEAR.
