Gathering Of Boats: For the Titford Pumphouse Opening, Engine Street, Oldbury.

To celebrate the restoration of the historic pumphouse by British Waterways.
Boat entry, with two BBQ packs and Plaque £15
Free entry to general public.
Additional BBQ packs available for £5

Outline of events
Friday Evening - Slide Show
Saturday morning - VIP Cruise Followed by Grand Opening at 12.00
Saturday Evening - BBQ and entertainment. Throughout event there will be a licensed Bar - Displays in the Pump House - Static exhibitions/stalls etc Secure moorings before and after event, contact as above.
Sunday - Stalls etc. Around the site B.W with the aid of a media group linked to the BBC will be holding a living heritage workshop. Recording any experiences of local poeple about the canal and local area.

Engine Arm, Old Main Line/ New Line.
By road Enterprise Centre off Rolfe Street, Smethwick.
Stalls/ Bar, Bonfire and Fireworks open to local community and public- free display.
Boat entrance fee with or with out BBQ packs.
Last Rally of the cruising season.
Secure moorings before and after event. However after event usually within a week winter stoppages start.
Please plan return and if stoppages will affect your attending inform us and we will approach BW to see if passage can be arranged.

Work Parties.
The format of the work parties from every month to fewer, two day events in an effort to obtain more support. Reports from previous work parties and forthcoming events are listed here.
Talks and Presentations.
Ron Cousens, the BCNS Talks and Presentation Officer, will be pleased to visit your group or society and give an illustrated presentation on the Birminghan Canal Navigations.
Ron Cousens has been involved with the BCNS since 1972, is currently Vice President and is a past President and Chairman.
The standard talk is entitled Birmingham and the Black Country Canals and is fully illustrated with slides. Ron is able to tailor the content of the talk to suit the audience. Previous presentations have been given to The Friends of Ironbridge, Shirley Railway Society, Stechford Womens Institute and several Canal Societies.
All that is requested in return are Rons' expenses and a donation to Society funds, in proportion to the size and wealth of the visited organization.
